Currently Washington Mutual has over 3 scams running trying to get individuals personal information for illegal purposes.

Below are examples of the emails you may have received. DO NOT CLICK on the HYPERLINKS they will take you to a site that will get your personal information and may also infect your computer with a trojan virus.

Example # 1 - WAMU Checking Card Alert

Dear WAMU Bank customer.
We want to inform that you should pass check parity of your account to given e-mail.

Please go to: http://www.wamu-onlinebank.com/index.php?
Rest of link deleted as it is an infected virus and scam.

Otherwise we stop temporarily service of your account.
